Gokyo valley trekking is another most the popular trekking trails in the Everest region. The trekking to the Gokyo valley is perhaps the most amazing trekking route, because, the trail follows to the closest to the Everest base camp. Gokyo valley trekking is an alternative route to traditional trails to the Everest base camp. Gokyo Ri is one of the excellent view point in Everest region. The trekking to the Gokyo lake starts form gateway to lukla, then the trails follows along the bank of Dudh koshi River. After having two night stay for acclimatization at Namche, the beautiful Sherpa village it reaches to Gokyo lake and have the views of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Makalu, and other neighboring Himalayas lying around and finally making excursion to the whole around, you will return back to Lukla and then Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5.30 hours.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day.

Day 06: Trek to Phorste Thanga (3680meters) 5 hours.

Day 07: Trek to Machherma (4470 meters). 5 hours.

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4790 meters) 5.30 hours.

Day 09: Trek to Gokyo Ri (5483 meters) and then Back to Gokyo. 5 hours.

Day 10: Trek to Dole (4200meters) 6 hours.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung village (3780meters) 5 hours.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2804 meters.) 6 hours.

Day 13: Morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla

Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Transfer for your final flight departure.
