How to obtain visa in Bhutan
The visa process is considered to be a little complicated in comparison with other countries, because, the Bhutan has a very few embassies abroad. The visa is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bhutan. Therefore, you must apply in advance through your tour operator. The process takes a little more time than a normal visa application so it is advisable to apply early. You can download the form from Bhutan visit once you complete filling the form, fax it or e-mail it to it. The Bhutan visit does receive your completed form it passes to the Department of Tourism and then to the Foreign Ministry, both are based in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. If you are a practicing Buddhism, you may apply for a permit to visit specific dzongs and religious institutions. Tourist Season in Bhutan
It is considered that the best season to have trekking to Bhutan is from March through November. December and February are very cold and itineraries can be changed because the road is blocked due heavy snow on the way to some parts of Bhutan.
