Annapurna circuit trekking is one of the popular trekking in the Annapurna Region. The highest pass of the world (THORANG-LA,5416M) is in this trekking route. Most of the trekkers are excited to cross this pass and feel proud about crossing it so, This trekking has been the centre of attraction for many tourists ever. During the trekking, you will have chance to explore the natural beauties, diverse culture, l ifestyle of ethnic groups living in the areas and also the flora and faunas. It begins from Jagat and ends in Ghandruk.

Besides, you also have panoramic views of Himalayas, including of Mt. One of the features of this trail is that the higher you go up, the more panoramic views you can see. Annapurna Circuit Trek takes you around the Annapurna Himal,following the courses of two-mighty rivers namely Marsyangdi in the east and the Kali Gandaki in the west, and also takes you along the Kali Gandaki gorge, the world's deepest gorge, flanked by the giant Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalaya ranges.
Annapurna Circuit Trekking goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great view of Manaslu (8163m.) and Peak 29 to the east. Starting from less altitude, it gives you a chance to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top with many different angles and perspectives. It supports to acclimatize your body. you will continue trekking to Dharapani, Chame and enter a nice Village, PISANG there is a choice of two route LOWER and UPPER of the Marsyangdi River which meet at Mungji. The LOWER route heads to Humde,there is an Airport and UPPER route leads to Ghyaru for better views on the trail that follows the northern bank of the river. You will walk through rice farms, forests and finally reach to friendly village,Manang (3540m) where you will take a rest and explore the areas lying around. Subsequently, the next day, you will head up to ledar (4030m), Thorang-La(5416m) via ThorangPhedi and then you will finally reach at Muktinath (3800m) then continuously you will drop down to Jomsom (2770m) via Kagbeni(3100m).The Jomsom is the headquarter of Mustang District and major trading center too.This trekking heads towards to along the Kali Gandaki gorge, the world's deepest gorge, then following the indeginuosThakali peoples settlements sails out the Marpha,Tukuche,Larjung villages, There are some apple brandy factories. You also can enjoy having shower with natural Hot Spring in Tatopani, following the trial it finally takes to Ghorepani poon Hill which known as ANNAPURNA BALCONY trekking. It passes through a popular Gurung village, Ghandruk which a full of Gurung culture then drive to Pokhara.

Early in the morning, your Trekking guide will come at the Hotel to pick you up and you walk from hotel few minutes to get Tourist bus station (Kantipath).You will drive into the hills through scenic foothills, passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli River. You will enjoy with greenery, rivers, villages, farms and terraces. While you reach to Dumre,you will leave the highway to Pokhara and head north to Jagat via Bensisahar.It is possible to drive all the way to Chame by Jeep but road is constructing now. It is finishing soon. Overnight at Lodge.
During this day,you will walk through forests of bamboo and rhododendrons with nice waterfall at Chamje. After this village trek is rocky trail following the side of Marsyandiriver gradually uphill. Overnight at Lodge.
After your breakfast,you hike a few steep forested ridges along with several landslides. You will be treated to some of the most sensational views of LamjungHimal Range and Annapurna Range. There is a small hot springs so you can feel better on your long day hard walking. Overnight Lodge.
Your trail will be a steep and narrow path through a very dense forest brings you to the dramatic curved rock face then you will cross the river time by time and to cross again on suspension bridges. When you reach at DhukurPokhari, You appear to see some majestic Himalayan Peaks like Annapurna II, Pisang peak, Chulu peak, Tilicho peak and others. You walk again through the wonderful sites to reach at Lower Pisang. Overnight at Lodge.
Leaving Pisang, You will have disjuncture of two traills north or south of the Marsyangdi River. If you take northern trail (Custom Trek Nepal recommends), through Ghyaru,you will have outstanding sceneries, such as Annapurna, Pisangpeak, and several others. In these days, you will have short visit to Barge monastery, the largest in the entire district of Manang will be memorable. Overnight at Hotel in Manang.
Higher altitude is suggested a short walk to get acclimatized for high altitude. The upcoming next two days will be very challenging and tiring trek for you with rapid gain in Thorang-La Pass (5416m). Nobody should be confident with the high altitude and always be cautious so you can spend your time to Gangapurna glacier, Icelake(4600m), Milerepa cave, Bhraga Village and a lovely old village Khangsar with great Annapurna mountain views. You can have a nice short walk to monastery (PrakenGompa) where a monk called Hundred Rupees Lama because he blesses your impending crossing of the Thorang-La pass by tying a sacred thread around your neck with tea.There is a Himalayan Rescue Association where you can get some ideas about Mountain Sickness. After your breakfast, your trail crosses a small stream and climb to upper Manangcalled TANKI Manang, then continues to climb up the valley of JarsangKhola. Your trail further passes near the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just below the trailhead. Now, you hike through pasture land where horses and yaks are grazing. When you will cross a small river on a wooden bridge, you will see an ancient old (Mani wall) in a pleasant meadow then Yak Kharka. Overnight at Lodge.
ThorangPhedi is a small busy settlement catering to the needs of tired Guests but Some Guests also want to hike for the High Camp because it will be easy for next day. CUSTOM TREK NEPAL advise to stay as a base camp, ThorangPhedi today because you can sleep better here than High Camp. Overnight at ThorangPhedi.
Today is your rewarded day by the famous high pass THORANG-LA so you will start to walk as possible as early in the morning. You have to reach on the top before noon otherwise, you will have strong windy, each moment You have to work hard today through the icy high-altitude trail. After about four hours climbing up to the pass marked by the Mani stone & prayer flags. As you reach the top with the outstanding high Himalayan scenes are such tempting that your eyes love to watch more over the horizon than on your trail. Then you walk down to Muktinath where an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhist. There is a Vishnu temple and a Monastery together but there is not lodge so You have to walk 20 minutes to Ranipauwa. Overnight at Lodge.
Early in the morning, you will hike 30 minutes to Muktinath.This is the famous Hindus temple.Many pilgrimagescome from different part of Nepal, even from India during the Hindus biggest festival BIJAYA DASHAMI. You can spend 3o minutes around the Temple to see some of the holy Hindu places like an eternal flame coming from natural gas next to a spring which is considered holy as well, then back to Hotel for hot breakfast. You will visit to Vishnu Temple and Gompa. Descending from Ranipauwa village down the steep and barren hillside, you tumble down toward Kagbeni and then to EkleBhatti finally arriving at Marpha. Jomsom is headquarter of Mustang District. here is a domestic airport so you can end your trek and fly to Pokhara. If not, You will see the people of upper Mustang, a restricted area to the north, who come to sell handicrafts to pilgrims. You will pass some ancient caves with splendid view of the Mt.Dhaulagiri through syang village then you will reach Thakali famous village,Marpha.Overnight at Lodge.
You have an easy and lovely days walking the orange orchid street to Tukuche (2580m),Thakali village, where a wine-brandy distillery from apple. You can visit and see it. You can make short side trip to a Buddhist temple called KANTI GOMPA. Then YOU continues walking the panoramic views of Himalayan peaks to another Thakali village,Larjung. Overnight at Lodge.
After your breakfast, you will follow the Kali Gandakiriver, passing through a narrow gorge before reaching some Thakali traditional villages,Upon crossing Kali Gandaki river, you come across the newly constructed road site before reaching Kokhethanti and Kalopani.This day, you will cross the gorge and river numerous times via long suspension bridges, Waiting here is the 360 degrees panorama of Himalayan peaks Mt.Dhaulagari (8167m), Tukuche Peak,NilgiriNorht,Nilgiri Centre,Nilgiri South, Annapurna Fang and Annapurna I (8091m). You continue walking to Ghasa. Overnight at Ghasa.
It is an enjoy a beautiful days because you start to walk through the steepest and narrowest part of the Kali Gandaki valley, where much of the route is cut through solid rock. You will cross the river again on a 120m long bridge to the west side to Ghasa.You will see a very high beautiful waterfall,RUPSE cHHAHARA on your way through the Kali Gandaki valley, where the deepest gorge all over the world.You will continue along the Kali Gandaki riverside, gradually decending into sub-tropical vegetation before Dana (1450m). After crossing the BhaluKholaon a high suspension bridge here you can see a powerhouse that supplies electricity in that area then you will reach in Tatopani. You relax and have a bath in the natural hot spring in the evening. Overnight at Lodge.
This day, you gradually hike to ascend through Ghara,Sikha villages with terraced and inclined farmlands,observing their lifestyle,culture and monologue. While walking through the Phalante,Chitre and a no-habitation area, you encounter with rhododendron, brich, magnolia and some meadows on the way. As you gain height, the peaks ahead look wonderful views of scenery to Magar Village, Ghorepani. Overnight at Lodge.
Early at dawn, you ascend to Poon Hill (3210m) to catch the moment of spectacular sunrise over the Mt.Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Mt.Nilgiri (7040m),Annapurna south (7219m),Annapurna II(7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Hunchuli (6441m), fishtail (Machhapuchhare) (6998m), LamjungHimal (6986m),Tukuche peak (6920m), Dhampus peak (6012m) and surrounding rice terraces. Nick name of Poon Hill is itself a photographer`s paradise. After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside,you come back down to hotel to have a hot and fresh breakfast.Then,you continue ups and downs trail trek to Tadapani Through the rhododendron forests. Your trail leads all the way down through the Rhododendron forest to Ghandruk with mountain views. Ghandruk is the second-largest Gurung settlement in Nepal. You will reach there around noon so you can take your lunch here.After your lunch, you can visit Gurung village,Gurung museum. As well as take time to explore the village. Overnight at Lodge.
This day, you will walk through Gurung Village with terraces, green hills with mountain views. When you will pass Deurali you will drop down to KimrongKhola. Here is some tea houses so you will have your lunch here. After your lunch, you will start to walk a short way through forests then you will leave the way to go Chhomrong Village. you will turn right to step down to place of Natural Hot Spring,JhinuDanda. Have a breakfast then start walking at the bank of ModiKhola with green scenery.Your walking will be easy today.Your Lunch place will be Syauli Bazar then a short walk to Birethanti.There is your private vehicle to drive an hour to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel
Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus at 7:30AM or 45 minutes fly to Kathmandu. It is the more convenient way to Kathmandu.
Our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
