Nepal has 3 major Trekking Region all over the country; Annapurna Region is one of the popular trekking regions. It is situated in the western part on the country. It lies in the lap of Annapurna conservation area which covers some 7,629 square kilometer. It is the first and the largest conservation area in Nepal and also the home of various wild animals, birds and flora and fauna.

Annapurna Base camp (4130m) trekking is in this region which is another popular trekking trails for trekkers who primarily love to enjoy with the excellent views and eye-catching Himalayan sceneries and nature lovers. Likewise, it is also one of the relaxed walking trails in Nepal through well-defined trekking trails and quality tea houses lodges. Ghorepani Poon Hill Circuit Trekking, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking, GhorepaniTatopani Trekking, GhorepaniGhandruk Trekking, and natural hot spring in JHINU DANDA are the major attraction of this trek. Annapurna Base Camp is surrounded by many Himalayan ranges which include the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and famous virgin Holy Mountain fishtail (Machhapuchhre) that dominate the skyline above Pokhara. 

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking starts at Birethanti, a short drive of an hour from Pokhara. The trail takes you through forests and fascinating traditional villages of the Nepal's indigenous communities of Gurung and Magar. The hike continues through heart touching blooming dense rhododendron forest and Bamboo with snowy peaks scenery in the background to Tadapani. After reaching to ChhomrongGurung village,you follow the ModiKhola through the huge rock over hanging, known as HINKU CAVE, you will have noticed that the vegetation has thinned and the gorge narrowed to be only a few hundred meters wide. Steep snow-clad ridges falling from Hiunchuli on the left and Machhapuchhre on the right from the sanctuary. As you enter to the sanctuary, you find yourself in a huge amphitheater enclosed by a solid wall of snowcapped peaks get to Annapurna Base Camp hardly. All the snowcapped mountains around the Annapurna base camp which makes you worthwhile and happy. After this imaging view, you will back down to Pokhara via JhinuDanda,Hot Spring with some small Towns. 

The Annapurna Base Camp trek will be more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with Nepali National Flowers called RHODODENDRON. You can find 32 different types of rhododendron flowers in Nepal. Some part of this trek can be done anytime of the year. During the trekking in this region, you will have an opportunity to spot the wild animals, reared birds, Buddhist's monasteries, and blend of cultures of the diverse ethnic groups such as Gurung, Magar, Brahmin, Chhetri. Now a days, you can drive to Ghandruk directly but road is rough and dusty.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345m)

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara(910m) 5/6 hrs driving or 45 minutes fly

Day 04: Drive to Birethanti (1100m), trek to Ulleri(2073m) 4 hrs

Day 05: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2850m) 5 hrs

Day 06: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m).5 hrs

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghaundruk (1950m) 4 hrs

Day 08: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2140m) 5 hrs

Day 09: Chhomrong to Dovan (2500m) 5/6 hrs

Day 10: Dovan to Deurali (3200m) 4 hrs

Day 11: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC,4130m) 5 hours. 

Day 12: ABC to Bamboo (2345m) 6 hrs

Day 13: Bamboo to JhinuDanda (1780m) 5 hrs

Day 14: JhinuDanda to Birethanti (1100m) 4 hrs and drive to Pokhara

Day 15: Pokhara to Kathmandu (200km) 5 hrs

Day 16: Transfer to international airport for your final departure.
