Baruntse peak Climbing (7129 m) is one another peak highly demanded for climbing in Nepal. Peak Climbing in Baruntse Peak lies in between Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu. It is said that was first ascended by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow from its south -East Ridge on 30 May 1954. Since then many climbers have made successful ascend on this peak. Baruntse is conserved by the Makalu Barun National Park, therefore there are many rare animals, birds and outstanding natural beauty and various kinds of flora and fauna. Baruntse is one of the beautiful snow peaks in Nepal. It is also one of the few peaks of this height with a high success rate in making summit. My. Baruntse climbing offers stunning views of Himalayas lying in both the Everest and Makalu region. The trail approaches to the mountain and then follows to the Mera Peak trek up to Mera La and then heads upto the Baruntse base camp, making excursion around the trail returns through same route to Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. Trek from Lukla to Chutanga. Camp.
Day 02: Rest day at Chutanga for Acclimatization.
Day 03: Trek from Chutanga to Thuli Kharka via Zatrawala Pass. Camp.
Day 04: Rest day at Thuli Kharka for more acclimatization and side excursion
Day 05: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Tangnang (Sabal Tsho-Lake) following Hinku Valley.
Day 06: Trek from Tangnang to Dig Kharka. Camp.
Day 07: Trek from Dig Kharka to Khare. Camp.
Day 08: Trek from Khare to Mera La (Pass). Camp.
Day 09: Trek from Mera La to Hunku Valley. Camp.
Day 10: Trek from Hunku Valley to Panch Pokhari (five lakes). Camp.
Day 11: Rest day at Panch Pokhari for getting prepared for the climb.
Day 12: Trek from Panch Pokhari to Baruntse West Col. Camp.
Day 13: Climb Baruntse Peak setting camps at different altitudes.
Day 23: Trek to Barun Glacier. Camp
Day 24: Trek from Barun Glacier to West Col. Camp.
Day 25: Trek from West Col to Panch Pokhari. Camp.
Day 26: Trek from Panch Pokhari to Glacier Camp. Camp
Day 27: Trek from Glacier Camp to Chukhung via Amphu Lapcha Pass. Camp.
Day 28: Trek from Chukhung to Pangboche. Camp.
Day 29: Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar. Camp.
Day 30: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Camp.
Day 31: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
